How do you like the new hook?

Hey hey. I guess almost everyone saw our new hook by now. I want to know, whether you like it or not. If you can, please respond to this thread telling details about what you like and what you hate, actually
You can find the new hook on both of our servers, so make sure to check it out, if you don't know it allready

loving it!
the old hook was way too blurry. the new one has some definition to it, so it just looks better.
it also feels like its inkeeping with the spacemarines Xd even if it isnt very space-age, it looks great!!

new sound? o.O how different will it be from the "pitcheww" sound we have now? what does it sound like? ^^

The sound is going to match the look of the hook ... it will be like a rattling chain, expect us to publish only the best we have to offer, as usual =)

Yeah, basically we got that sound allready. Kroete is just modifying the pike of the hook at the moment so we can include all of those mods in one final file then

Can you do sounds, gfx or models?
We could need a new chat beep sound for the server e.g. ... i think the original one is freaking annoying actually. You really had to make sure it's less annoying then, of course xD
So if you listen to it like 100 times in a row and you are still not annoyed by it, it should be ok =D
Besides sounds we could use textures definitly, too. If not for the game then for the homepage
If you could create new player models for Nexuiz this would of course be supreme ... but i know how hard it is actually, so i dont really expect anyone of us to be able to make kickass models, like morphed does them, e.g. ^^
Just gimme a shout on IRC somewhen within the next days, maybe we can find something that fits your skills and likes

Like the hook on nexuiz u mean yeh it good sep it does jam or lag sometime better than originally though whoo this is like my tm smily
